School Life
The Holyport Scholars’ Programme aims to stretch the minds of our students. The programme includes lectures, seminars and events that aim to go beyond the school curriculum and open the horizons of our students.
The College attends events at Eton or hosts guest speakers on several weekday evenings, from both the academic and professional world to stretch pupils’ academic capability and delve deeper into a variety of academic topics.
Speakers have included MPs from previous and current governments, presenters on the environment, engineering, theology, philosophy, science, writers and Mary Berry which was very popular.
Whilst the intention of the Scholars’ Programme is to stretch and challenge our most academic minds, all Holyport College students are able to apply to attend events although places will be limited for some events
