Ofsted Inspection Whole School

We are delighted to announce that Holyport College has been judged Outstanding by Ofsted. The inspection took place in the school from 17th – 18th May 2017 and the report will be published tomorrow.

Holyport College was judged to be Outstanding in every category. Inspectors drew particular attention to the following features of the school:

  • The school is a harmonious community where all groups coexist and cooperate together particularly well. Pupils are thoughtful, respectful and friendly. They are exceptionally proud to be a part of this new school.
  • The school’s pastoral system is a real strength. Issues are dealt with quickly and sensitively. Pupils value highly the support they receive when they need help.
  • Pupils are encouraged to develop as confident, articulate young people with an enthusiasm for learning and life.

The founders of the College had a vision of an inclusive and happy school where all children would thrive, academically and socially.

That is what Holyport College is all about and it is extremely pleasing that inspectors have recognised all the hard work that has gone into making us the very unique school that we are.

Walter Boyle, the Head Master of Holyport College
