Beginning of Term Arrangements

We are very much looking forward to welcoming all of our students, both new and returning, for the start of the new academic year. Arrangements for the beginning of term are as follows:

Monday 2nd September: Staff INSET

All day: Staff INSET

Tuesday 3rd September: Staff INSET, Lower Sixth boarders return

All day: Staff INSET

16:30-17:30: Lower Sixth boarders and Upper Sixth boarding prefects return

17:30: Head Master’s welcome for Lower Sixth boarders’ parents and carers in refectory

18:00: Dinner 

18:30: Orientation meeting in Dudley Room

Wednesday 4th September: First day of school for Lower Sixth, all other boarders return

08:30: All Lower Sixth students and Upper Sixth prefects assemble in the quad

08:40: Assembly for Lower Sixth

09:00: Tutor time, timetables, orientation etc.

10:30: Lessons begin for Lower Sixth

16:00: Introduction to Unifrog session for all Lower Sixth

16:30-17:30: Year 7-11 boarders who are new to the College arrive

17:30: Head Master’s welcome for parents and carers of boarders new to the College in refectory

17:30-18:30: All other boarders return

18:30: Dinner

19:30: House meetings (in common rooms)

Thursday 5th September: First day of school for all other students 

08:30: Arrival at school. Students new to the school should assemble in the quad where prefects will show them where to go

08:40: Form time, timetables, orientation etc.

10:45: Whole school assembly

11:35: Lessons begin
