Head of Sixth Form
Graham Alford has been appointed as Head of Sixth Form and began working for the College in September 2016. Graham was previously Head of Science at Gordon’s School, a high performing state boarding school in West-End near Woking and, prior to that, worked at Yateley School in Hampshire for 6 years as Head of Physics. He holds a BSc in Physics with solid state electronics from Cardiff University and PGCE from the University of Bath. He has a wealth of experience in sixth form teaching, curriculum design and preparing pupils for Russell Group universities.
Graham was also been heavily involved in extra-curricular activities at Gordon’s including leading D of E trips to Morocco, Borneo and the Himalayas as well as leading the school ski trip to Austria for the last 4 years. Outside of school, his interests include long distance running, golf, swimming and cycling and he is also a keen pianist and guitarist.
