Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself.

The Community

All our pupils are encouraged and expected to recognise the part they play, however small, in enhancing the lives of others around them.

We expect all pupils to conduct themselves in an exemplary manner at all times, both in and outside of the school grounds and contribute to the community in a meaningful and constructive way. Furthermore, pupils are encouraged to participate in various community based projects including work in other schools, libraries, museums, care homes and sports clubs. Pupils will leave Holyport College with a keen sense of what they can give back rather than what they can take.

We intend to work with other local schools to ensure that other children and young people in the borough are able to benefit from the sports and other facilities at the school.

In the holidays we also hope to make full use of our boarding accommodation by providing summer day and residential programmes to local children.  These will include academic stretch and challenge courses, intensive English and Maths courses for those needing extra support, sports camps and Arts and recreation weeks.
