Designs Revealed for New Holyport College

January 21st, 2013

Design images for Holyport College went on display at a planning consultation yesterday. The new free school will open its doors to pupils in September 2014 and will be built at the former Holyport Manor site in Ascot Road.

Enthusiastic parents visited the consultation at Holyport War Memorial Hall in Moneyrow Green throughout the afternoon. They were given the opportunity to look over sketches of what the new building would look like and share their feedback with the members of the schools trust.

Co-founder of the school, Sue Dudley, said: "It has gone very well, we have had quite a lot of positive interest. We are delighted to share all these plans with them."

The school will provide up to 500 places for 11-19 co-educational day and boarding pupils. So far about 700 potential students have already registered their interest.

"We have been totally thrilled with the response," added Mrs Dudley.

"So many parents share our vision of the school and the level of support has been fantastic."

The school was formerly known as Holyport Free School.
